  1. Step 1: Fill your reservoir with 80–90% of your total target water volume. Add Masterblend 4-18-38 first. Stir vigorously until the water is completely clear and no floating crystals remain. Warm water accelerates dissolution.
  2. Step 2: Add Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt) second. Stir thoroughly until 100% dissolved.
  3. Step 3: Add Calcium Nitrate LAST. If possible, pre-dissolve Calcium Nitrate in a separate small container of warm water before pouring it into the diluted main reservoir. Top off your reservoir with fresh water to reaching exact volume.

For precise hydroponic dosing and consistent EC levels, using an inexpensive digital jeweler's gram scale ($0.01\text{g}$ precision) is strongly recommended.

For optimal micronutrient absorption (especially Chelated Iron), adjust your mixed solution pH to 5.8 – 6.2 using pH Down (Phosphoric or Citric Acid) or pH Up (Potassium Hydroxide) AFTER all three nutrient parts are fully dissolved.

Cloudiness indicates chemical lockout precipitation. This occurs if dry Masterblend and Calcium Nitrate were added at the same time, if water volume was too low (concentrated stock), or if tap water has extremely high baseline hard water calcium/magnesium levels ($>200\text{ PPM}$ hardness).
